This quick and easy snack or appetizer is a satisfying combo of crunchy, crispy, salty, juicy, and meaty. This is a basic recipe, so you are welcome to add on to it as you would like. You may wish to include some lettuce, pieces of avocado, a smear of mayo, or even fresh basil leaves!
Ingredients
- 20 slice cucumber, raw, with peel
- 2 slice – 6" long bacon, pork
- 2 slice – each 1 ounce turkey slices
- 10 cracker-size slice cheddar cheese, natural
Instructions
- Slice 20, ΒΌ-inch thick slices of cucumber. Lay them out and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Prepare your filling by slicing 2 pieces of cooked bacon each into 5 pieces (10 total), slice 2 slices of turkey into 10 pieces each (20 total), and slice 10 pieces of cheese.
- On 10 of the cucumber slices, arrange 2 pieces of turkey, 1 piece of bacon, and one piece of cheese on each.
- Use the raining cucumber slices to sandwich your bites and secure with a toothpick. Enjoy!
