Pinwheels make such a fantastic snack! It’s an efficient way to fill up on your fat and protein, but you can choose from a variety of keto fillings! You may consider these pinwheels a little “fancy” compared to other recipes, and you’ll enjoy every bite! You can also make these pinwheels in bulk for a party appetizer.
Ingredients
- 3 ounce prosciutto
- 1 ¼ ounce capicola
- 2 ounce cream cheese
- ¼ ounce arugula
- ½ ounce mild banana pepper rings by mt olive
Instructions
- Create the first layer of prosciutto by laying them across a flat surface, slightly overlapping each other. Lay 4-6 pieces of capicola across the prosciutto.
- Spread the cream cheese across one side of the capicola (you can soften it first) as pictured. Layer the arugula and banana peppers across the cream cheese as well.
- Starting from the side with the filling, gently roll the prosciutto and capicola into a tight roll. Slice 6 pinwheels from the roll. Enjoy!
