These deliciously aromatic lamb chops are slow cooked until tender with Moroccan spices, garlic and onion.

The juices from the meat combine with the spices to produce a ready made gravy, perfect served with cauliflower cous cous or spicy green beans.

Ingredients

  • 8 small lamb chops
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 1 teaspoon ras el hanout
  • 1 teaspoon spices coriander seed or ground
  • 1 teaspoon cumin, ground
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • ½ small white onion
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the onion and peel the garlic. Add both to the base of a slow cooker.
  2. Sit the lamb chops on top of the vegetables and sprinkle over the dried spices, herbs and seasoning. Use your hands to rub the seasoning all over the meat.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours until the meat is cooked through and tender. Serve immediately.
