These deliciously aromatic lamb chops are slow cooked until tender with Moroccan spices, garlic and onion.
The juices from the meat combine with the spices to produce a ready made gravy, perfect served with cauliflower cous cous or spicy green beans.
Ingredients
- 8 small lamb chops
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 1 teaspoon ras el hanout
- 1 teaspoon spices coriander seed or ground
- 1 teaspoon cumin, ground
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- ½ small white onion
- ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Slice the onion and peel the garlic. Add both to the base of a slow cooker.
- Sit the lamb chops on top of the vegetables and sprinkle over the dried spices, herbs and seasoning. Use your hands to rub the seasoning all over the meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 5 hours until the meat is cooked through and tender. Serve immediately.
