This sweet and spicy compound butter blends chocolate and chili for a creamy treat, great for helping boost your daily fats.
This butter is perfect slathered on warm keto toast or basted onto meats.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon 100% pure erythritol by now
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon lime juice, fresh
- ⅔ cup unsalted butter
- ½ tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
- ⅛ teaspoon salt, sea salt
Instructions
- Bring the butter to room temperature so that it is very soft. Add to a mixing bowl along with the erythritol, chili powder, lime juice, salt and cocoa powder. Beat together until smooth and well combined.
- Form the butter into a rough log shape, about 1.5 inches thick on a square of Saran Wrap or baking paper.
- Tightly wrap the butter and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm and then slice to serve.
