Ingredients

  • ¼ cup, chopped carrots raw
  • ¾ cup, pared, chopped cucumber peeled raw
  • 1 ¼ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ¼ teaspoon spices turmeric ground
  • ½ teaspoon spices ginger ground

Instructions

  1. If you own a high-quality blender, you can combine all ingredients at once. Pulse the ingredients until they’re smooth. If you feel the smoothie is too thick, add water or more almond milk.
  2. If you own a bullet blender or a similar small appliance, combine the carrots and cucumber in a food processor first. Pulse the ingredients until you get a soft pulp with little to no chunks. Then you can add the ground ingredients to your bullet blender.
  3. Add the almond milk, ginger, and turmeric to the bullet blender. Blend the smoothie until smooth. Like Step 1, you can add more almond milk or water to thin out the smoothie.
