This simple dressing is inspired by the traditional Italian sauce with a thicker consistency – perfect for spreading, dipping or topping grilled meat.

You can also find this recipe used with our keto pork chops and capers with tonnato.

Ingredients

  • 4 ounce canned tuna
  • 2 anchovies anchovies canned in oil and drained
  • 1 tablespoon, whole pieces capers
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
  • ⅔ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ each – juice from one lemon lemon juice
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor.
  2. Blend until well combined and smooth and you have a thick dressing.
