About
These crisp bacon chips are coated with keto maple syrup and baked until caramelized. The chips are accompanied by a sweet and savory peanut butter dip, perfect for scooping!
Although this dip uses peanut butter, almond butter would work just as well.
Ingredients
- 4 slice – 6" long bacon
- 3 tablespoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
- 2 tablespoon peanut butter
- 2 tablespoon cream cheese spread
- 1 tablespoon almond milk, vanilla or other flavors, unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon salt, sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
- Slice the bacon pieces into three and arrange across the lined oven tray. Set aside one tablespoon of the lakanto syrup and brush evenly over the bacon pieces.
- Transfer to the oven to bake for 12-15 minutes until crisp and golden, then set aside to cool and firm up.
- Whilst the chips are cooking you can prepare the dip. Add the peanut butter, cream cheese, remaining lakanto, cinnamon, vanilla and salt to a mixing bowl. Beat together to combine.
- Add the almond milk and beat again until smooth and creamy. Serve with the bacon chips for dipping.
