These simple shredded sprouts are pan fried until tender then tossed with sweet balsamic vinegar and tangy feta cheese.
This is a great side to grilled chicken, lamb or pork.
Ingredients
- 2 cup brussels sprouts, raw
- 2 tablespoon feta cheese
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Remove any outer leaves from the sprouts and discard the tough bases. Thinly slice/shred the sprouts. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over a low/medium heat and add the shredded sprouts. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 5-6 minutes until tender.
- Add the balsamic vinegar and stir well to combine. Cook for a minute more.
- Crumble in the feta cheese and toss to serve.
