Snacks are very important to have around when you are on the keto diet. If you have snacks prepped and ready to go, it’s easy to reach for a keto approved snack versus something that could take you out of ketosis. Nuts help me stay full and are loaded with healthy fats and chocolate is a good way to satisfy a sweet tooth. Feel free to top these clusters with any other freeze dried low carb berry like raspberries or blueberries! I also like to keep these in the freezer until I’m ready to eat them as it makes them extra cold, crunchy and delicious.
Ingredients
- 2 ½ ounce pure 85% dark chocolate non gmo by theo
- ½ cup blanched slivered almonds by blue diamond
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Break dark chocolate into pieces and melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals stirring well each time. Once the chocolate is mostly melted and there are a few small unmelted pieces left, keep stirring as they will melt on their own.
- Add in the almonds. Stir for 30 seconds until the chocolate thickens and cools slightly.
- Scoop onto a parchment lined baking sheet in heaping teaspoonfuls to make 10 clusters. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt! Freeze until set. Once set, keep in freezer until ready to eat.
