These flavorful kale chips are tossed with Italian herbs, tangy parmesan cheese, olive oil and a hint of lemon before being oven baked until crisp.
These make a great sharing snack.
Ingredients
- 4 cup kale
- 1 ½ tablespoon, grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
- Arrange the kale in an even layer across the lined tray.
- Scatter over the parmesan, zest, herbs, salt and pepper.
- Drizzle over the olive oil and use your hands to massage the oil and seasonings into the kale leaves.
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until crisp, turning halfway through. Set aside to cool and crisp further.
