This dip is thick, bubbly, and loaded with cheeses and spices. Enjoy a pepperoni pizza without the carb-loaded crust! Spread this dip over keto toast, enjoy with bacon chips or cheese chips, keto tostadas, or any other Carb Manager snack!
Ingredients
- 1 cup marinara sauce, store bought
- 4 ounce cream cheese, brick
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper, ground
- ¼ teaspoon garlic, powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper by simply organic
- ¾ ounce pepperoni, pork and beef
- 2 slice (from pre-sliced package) – each 3/4 ounce mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a cast iron skillet, heat the marinara sauce and cream cheese together over a medium heat until the two emulsify. You should have a light pink/orange sauce that is thick and bubbly.
- Stir in all the seasonings. Chop and stir in the pepperoni as well. At this point, turn on your oven’s broiler.
- Once the dip is heated through and fragrant, turn off the stove. Arrange 2 slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the dip. Heat the skillet under your broiler for 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot! The original recipe here makes approx. 1 ½ cups of dip.
