These manchego and chorizo crisps make for a quick and easy snack or appetiser.

These crisps are rich in flavor and are perfect served on their own or dipped in creamy guacamole.

Ingredients

  • 12 slice – 1-3/4" diameter x 1/8" thick chorizo
  • 12 teaspoon shaved manchego cheese by trader joe's
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large shallow oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Arrange the chorizo slices across the lined oven tray.
  3. Spread a heaped teaspoon of manchego across the top of each chorizo slice.
  4. Sprinkle each cheese topped slice with a little oregano and black pepper.
  5. Transfer to the oven to bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling and the chorizo is crisp.
  6. Set aside to cool before serving.
