This simple snack can be whipped up in 10 minutes. Enjoy it with friends or while watching a movie with your family. You could also double down on your serving if you need a heftier snack, such as before a workout.

Ingredients

  • 5 slice turkey bacon
  • 6 ½ ounce avocado
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ each – juice from one lime lime juice, fresh
  • 1 ounce yellow onion
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoon cilantro

Instructions

  1. Cook your strips of bacon to a crisp on both sides (not burnt). Keep the strips as straight as possible so they don’t shrink and wrinkle up. Set the cooked bacon aside to cool.
  2. In a bowl, mash the avocado with the olive oil, lime juice, diced onion, salt, and cilantro. You can simply use a fork to mash to your liking.
  3. Set the guacamole in a serving dish. Cut each strip of bacon into 4 pieces and arrange them in the guacamole for dipping.
