So simple yet so delicious, tapenade is a versatile recipe that can bring huge amounts of added flavor to multiple meals.

Used similarly to pesto, tapenade is great spread on low carb crackers, stirred through zucchini noodles, as a relish with roasted meats or why not try our Keto baked cod fillets with tapenade and prosciutto!

This recipe will provide 6 generous tablespoons of tapenade.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon, chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon, whole pieces capers
  • 1 pieces flat fillet anchovies in olive oil by cento
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 wedge – juice from one wedge or slice lemon juice
  • ½ cup black olives
  • 22 olives pitted kalamata olives by mezzetta
  • â…“ cup extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Add the olives, capers, anchovies, garlic, lemon juice and parsley to a food processor.
  2. Pulse to combine until chunky.
  3. Slowly add in the olive oil a little at a time and blend to form a semi chunky paste, using more or less oil to taste.
