These quick and easy sizzler steaks are topped with an aromatic compound butter of sundried tomatoes, fresh basil and a hint of lemon.
This is a great dinner option with a quick-to-prep compound butter for added flavor and fats. Perfect served with salad or collard greens.
Ingredients
- 85 gram minute steak

- 2 piece tomatoes sun dried or sundried
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter, unsalted
- 1 tablespoon basil, fresh
- ½ teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
- ⅛ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Bring a heaped tablespoon of butter up to room temperature and add to a small bowl. Finely chop the sun dried tomatoes and basil and add to the butter along with the lemon zest and a little salt and pepper. Mash together until well combined.
- Season the steaks and rub with the oil on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over a high heat. Once hot add the steaks and cook through to preference.
- Top the hot steaks with the compound butter to serve.
