Smoky, sweet and salty, these almonds are quick to prepare and addictive to eat.
Perfect for a go to snack and to have on hand for visiting guests!
The recipe calls for xylitol but this can be swapped for your preferred granulated low carb sweetener.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup, whole pieces almonds, dry roasted, unsalted
- 1 teaspoon xylitol by now
- 1 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
- 1 teaspoon salt, sea salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
- Add the almonds to a mixing bowl with the oil, xylitol, salt, cinnamon and paprika. Toss well to combine, ensuring the nuts are evenly coated in the seasonings.
- Arrange the almonds evenly across the lined baking tray and transfer to the oven to bake for 25-30 minutes, turning regularly and ensuring they do not burn.
