These flavorsome kale chips are tossed with sweet maple flavored syrup, smokey paprika and a hint of lemon before being oven baked until crisp and caramelized.
These make a great sharing snack between meals.
Ingredients
- 4 cup kale, raw
- 2 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
- 2 teaspoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- â…› teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
- Arrange the kale leaves in an even layer across the lined oven tray.
- Scatter over the paprika, zest, salt and pepper and drizzle the syrup.
- Drizzle over the olive oil and use your hands to massage the oil, syrup and seasonings into the kale.
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until crisp, turning halfway through. Set aside to cool and crisp further.
