These celery sticks are stuffed with a creamy and tangy cream cheese dip packed with olives, capers and zesty lemon.

This makes for a great snack between meals or simple appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 12 medium green olives
  • 4 medium – stalk – 7 1/2" to 8" long celery stalks
  • 2 ½ ounce cream cheese spread
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
  • ½ teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Finely slice the olives and roughly chop the capers. Add to a mixing bowl along with the cream cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, pepper and garlic powder. Mix together well to combine.
  2. Spoon the cream cheese mixture along the center of each celery stalk and refrigerate until ready to serve.
