By popular request, this basic pork schnitzel recipe is just that – basic! No additional side dishes, no dipping sauces, allowing you to add on your favorite Carb Manager recipes for a full meal.

Ingredients
- 2 large raw egg
- 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard by french's
- 1 ½ cup, shredded parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup almond flour
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon, chopped parsley
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound thin sliced center cut pork chops bonless by aldi
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and brown mustard. On a wide plate, mix together the parmesan, almond flour, salt, pepper, onion powder, and parsley.
- Fill a large skillet with olive oil to about ½-inch high. Heat the olive oil on a medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, lay out approx. 6 thin-sliced pork chops.
- One by one, dip the pork chops in the egg, then coat them in the parmesan breading. Place each breaded pork chop in the hot oil.
- Cook the pork chops on each side until they naturally release from the skillet and are crispy golden brown on both sides.
- Enjoy your pork schnitzel with a wedge of lemon! This schnitzel has been garnished with extra chopped parsley and hot paprika.
