These Cajun spiced koftas are flavored with aromatic thyme, oregano, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic and onion, then oven baked until golden.
These make a great dinner option served with cauliflower rice, steamed vegetables or a hearty salad.
Ingredients
- 9 ounce ground pork
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon red pepper (cayenne), ground
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
- ½ small white onion
- ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly oil a shallow oven tray.
- Very finely chop the onion and crush the garlic. Add to a mixing bowl along with the ground pork, herbs, spices, salt and pepper. Use your hands to mix together until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 10 even portions and mold into small oblongs with your hands. Arrange across the prepared oven tray.
- Transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until completely cooked through and golden brown all over.
