These walnuts are stuffed with a sweet chocolate flavoured cream cheese, ideal for snacking or an after dinner treat!

These make for a great post dinner option or party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 24 half walnuts
  • 3 teaspoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 ½ tablespoon cream cheese spread
  • ½ tablespoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Add the cream cheese, syrup, cocoa powder and vanilla to a bowl. Mix well to combine.
  2. Divide the cream cheese mixture evenly between 12 of the walnut halves and sandwich together with the remaining walnut halves to serve.
