These keto avocado slices are coated in a zesty mix of aromatic spices and lemon juice, then pan fried until lightly golden.
These make a great snack or addition to a salad.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
- 1 each avocado
- 1 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper (cayenne), ground
- ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Peel and slice the avocado into strips, add to a bowl.
- Add a tablespoon of the olive oil, lemon juice, spices and seasonings to a small bowl. Mix well to combine.
- Drizzle over the avocado slices and toss to coat.
- Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet over a medium heat and add the spiced avocado slices. Pan fry for 2-3 minutes each side until warmed through and lightly golden.
