About

This meal for one is for the hungry man or woman! Fatty bacon and steak are cooked to a crisp and paired with classic breakfast scrambled eggs. Even extra cream in the eggs adds the extra fat you’ll need in your breakfast.
You may consider adding cheese to this recipe to bump up the fat and protein even more.

Ingredients

  • 2 large raw egg
  • 2 ½ tablespoon heavy cream
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper, ground
  • 2 slice – 6" long bacon
  • 2 ½ ounce beef steak, sirloin, visible fat eaten
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper, ground
  • ⅛ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the egg, cream, salt and pepper. Pour the mixture in a wide skillet and heat on a medium-low heat. Slowly stir with a spatula as the egg cooked until it is scrambled (low and slow is best). Set the cooked egg aside in a bowl and return the pan to the stove.
  2. Chop the bacon and cube the steak into small bite-sized pieces. Toss these in the skillet with the remaining seasonings.
  3. Heat the pan over a medium-high heat, occasionally tossing until the bacon and steak are both crispy and golden brown.
  4. Turn the heat down as low as possible and return the scrambled egg to the skillet. Break up and stir until the egg heats back through.
  5. Serve right away! This dish was garnished with chopped parsley and a little hot sauce.
