These keto waffles make for a great breakfast treat for the whole family to enjoy.

Once you have prepared the waffles you can enjoy them with your favourite sweet low carb toppings. Perfect with berries or a drizzle of lakanto maple syrup!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoon almond milk, vanilla or other flavors, unsweetened
  • 2 small raw egg whole
  • 2 tablespoon 100% pure erythritol by now
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 3 ounce food cupboard home baking almonds ground by sainsbury's
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ÂĽ cup almond butter, unsalted
  • â…› teaspoon salt, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Add the ground almonds, cocoa powder, almond butter, coconut oil, cinnamon, erythritol, baking soda and salt to a food processor. Blend to form a thick paste.
  2. Add the eggs to the food processor along with the almond milk and lemon juice. Blend until you have a smooth batter.
  3. Heat a waffle maker to maximum heat and lightly brush with a little oil. Once the waffle maker has reached temperature, spoon in half the batter, using a spatula to create an even layer.
  4. Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and hot through. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.
  5. Allow the waffles to cool a little before removing, then serve warm with your choice of low carb toppings.
