About

These little treats are just like licking off the icing from your birthday cake! Almost exactly like buttercream, each frosting drop acts as a “fat bomb” as well as satisfies your sweet tooth! These frosting drops were tinted pink just for fun, but you are not required to add food coloring for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whipping cream, extra heavy/gourmet, not whipped
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 ounce cream cheese, brick
  • 3 tablespoon stevia in the raw, bakers bag
  • 1 tbp rainbow sprinkles by cake mate

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks. Whip in the vanilla as well as any food coloring you’d like to use (optional).
  2. Transfer the whipped cream aside in a separate bowl. In the mixer, whip the cream cheese until it is soft and lump-free. Then, whip in the stevia until you have a creamy mixture.
  3. In 2 additions, whip the whipped cream back into the cream cheese. Whip until you have a lump free and consistent mixture.
  4. Transfer the frosting to either a pastry piping bag or a large ziploc bag with the tip cut off. Pipe 30-32, 1-tablespoon drops onto a large sheet tray lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle about ⅛ teaspoon of sprinkles or non-pareils over each frosting drop.
  5. Freeze the tray of frosting drops for at least 1 hour. Simply grab from the freezer and pop in your mouth to enjoy!
