Can I Use a Different Sweetener?

Ingredients

  • 15 ounce pork tenderloin
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 ½ tablespoon tamari sauce
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, ground
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon maple flavored syrup
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Melt the coconut oil in a skillet over a medium/high heat. Dice the pork and add. Cook the pork for a few minutes until browned all over.
  2. Peel and crush the garlic. Add the garlic to the skillet along with the ginger, maple-flavored syrup, tamari, water, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine. You may adjust the level of seasoning to suit your own personal tastes.
  3. Bring the mixture up to a boil, then reduce to simmer. Simmer the pork for a few minutes more until it is completely cooked through. The liquid should be reduced right down to a golden glaze. If the pan looks too dry, you can add a splash more water as needed. Serve the pork hot with the sweet pan juices and your preferred Keto sides.
