Can I Cook This in An Air Fryer?

We have oven-baked our Keto chicken drumsticks until crispy and slightly caramelized. If preferred, you may cook the drumsticks in an air fryer. Simply prepare as per the recipe instructions and arrange in your air fryer basket. Cook according to your air fryer guidelines. They should take roughly 25-30 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit in an air fryer, just ensure they are entirely cooked through and golden all over. Please be sure to adjust your macros for any changes made to the original recipe and adjust cooking times for different cooking methods as needed.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium chicken drumstick, skin eaten
  • 1 teaspoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
  • 1 teaspoon tamari sauce
  • 1 teaspoon coriander leaf, dried
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • â…› teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly oil a shallow oven tray or sheet pan. Arrange the chicken drumsticks across the prepared tray.
  2. Add the maple-flavored syrup, olive oil, tamari sauce, garlic powder, ground coriander, salt and pepper to a small bowl. Mix together well to combine. You may adjust or add additional seasonings to the marinade at this point if desired.
  3. Brush the marinade evenly all over the chicken drumsticks. Transfer the tray to the oven and bake for 35 minutes, turning halfway through. The chicken should be entirely cooked through, and the juices run clear. The skin should be crisp and golden all over and slightly caramelized. Serve with your preferred Keto sides.
