This BBQ flavored pulled pork is so simple to make and requires minimal cooking effort! Once you have seasoned the pork, the slow cooker takes over until the pork is tender and falling apart.

The perfect filling for lettuce wraps, as a topping for keto nachos, or served with some smokey slaw, this slow cooked pork is one to add to your weekly meal plans.

Ingredients

  • 2 pound pork shoulder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoon xylitol sweetener
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon spices onion powder
  • 2 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • ½ teaspoon spices cinnamon ground
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin by suraj
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger by adams
  • ½ teaspoon coriander by gourmet garden
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the pork to a slow cooker, fat side up and add all the seasonings. Use your hands to rub the seasonings all over the meat.
  2. Cover and cook on high for 7 hours until the meat easily falls away.
  3. Transfer the pork to a plate and shred the meat with a fork – this should be easy to do.
  4. Serve the pork on its own as a snack or as a meal with salad or slaw.
