These keto steaks are marinated in a rich cocoa, coffee and chili rub then pan fried until juicy and tender.

These are a great option for something a bit different, served with a simple salad.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounce beef steak, minute or cubed
  • 3 ounce beef steak, minute or cubed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coffee, prepared from grounds
  • 1 teaspoon powdered erythritol
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the cocoa powder, coffee, chili powder, erythritol, salt and pepper to a food processor. Blend to a fine powder.
  2. Add the steaks to a bowl along with the blended powder and olive oil. Rub the seasonings all over the steaks so that they are well coated and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over a high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steaks and cook through to preference.
