These keto steaks are marinated in a rich cocoa and paprika coating then pan fried until
juicy and tender.

These are a great alternative steak option served with a simple salad.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounce minute steak
  • 3 ounce minute steak
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
  • 1 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the steaks to a bowl along with the cocoa powder, syrup, paprika, olive oil, salt and pepper. Rub the seasonings all over the steaks so that they are well coated and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over a high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steaks and cook through to preference.
