These simple keto lettuce cups are loaded with crispy fried pork, tender onion, tangy tamari sauce and earthy sesame.
These make a great lunch option or light dinner.
Ingredients
- 9 ounce ground pork
- 4 outer (large) leaf romaine lettuce
- 1 tablespoon tamari sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ medium – 2 1/2" diameter white onion
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over a low/medium heat. Thinly slice the onion and garlic and add to the skillet, sweating gently until tender.
- Add the ground pork and increase the heat to medium/high. Cook through until browned all over.
- Add the sesame oil and tamari and cook for 2-3 minutes more until the pork and onions are golden and crisp at the edges.
- Divide the pork between the four lettuce leaves to serve.
