*Please note that you will need 1/2 c. olive oil for step 2. The amount noted in the ingredient list is for nutritional purposes only.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pound chicken wing
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper by simply organic
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ tablespoon oregano, dried
  • ½ tablespoon basil, dried
  • 1 teaspoon sage, ground
  • 8 1 teaspoon oregano fresh
  • 1 gram bay leaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 375 degrees, and spray a baking dish with pan spray. Prepare the chicken wings by cutting them into wings and dings. You should get about 12 pieces.
  2. *For this step, please use 1/2 c. of olive oil. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl. Use your hands or a large spoon to combine the wings with the olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper, paprika, dried oregano, and dried basil.
  3. Arrange the seasoned chicken wings in your baking dish. Place the fresh oregano and bay leaves around the chicken wings. Cover the dish with foil and bake the wings for 40 minutes.
  4. Prepare a large sheet tray with pan spray. When the wings are done baking, transfer them to the new pan. Make sure there is space between the wings so the second round of baking creates a crispy skin. Bake the tray, uncovered, for an additional 20 minutes.
  5. Enjoy hot!
