About

You will love this Keto Air Fryer recipe for Keto Taco Bowls! Deliciously fatty ground beef is combined with taco seasonings like sea salt, dark chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, and ground cumin. The mixture is browned nicely in the air fryer. If you have never used the air fryer to cook ground beef, you will love how nicely it browns. The cooked and seasoned ground beef is placed on top of a bed of shredded lettuce and then topped with sliced black olives, cherry tomatoes, sliced poblanos, shredded cheese, and sour cream.

What type of ground beef should I use?

I like to use grass-fed beef that is in an 85% lean to fat ratio. This fat to lean ratio provides ample amounts of fat and protein per serving and not being too greasy for a more excellent eating experience.

What other toppings can I add?

If your net carb limit can account for it, please add salsa or hot sauce to the top of the taco bowls!

Serving suggestions

Adding enough healthy fats to your Keto or Low Carb diet is essential for a successful diet. I like to pair these taco bowls with guacamole:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger or ground beef, 85% lean
  • 1 teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cumin, ground
  • 10 oz lettuce, mixed greens
  • ¼ cup tomato
  • ½ cup, grated mexican blend cheese
  • 2 tablespoon olives black canned small to extra large
  • 2 tablespoon sour cream

Instructions

  1. Break up the ground meat in the bottom of the air fryer basket. Be sure to remove the rack before adding the raw meat. Allow the meat to cook at 350 F for 5 minutes.
  2. Stir the mixture and add all of the seasonings (sea salt, dark chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, and ground cumin).
  3. Cook the meat for 3 more minutes. Stir and then cook another 2-3 minutes until nicely browned and cooked through.
  4. In the meantime, fill bowls with the shredded lettuce. Top the bowls with the cooked beef. Next, top each bowl with sliced cherry tomatoes, sliced black olives, shredded cheese, and sour cream. Feel free to top each bowl with salsa or hot sauce, but be sure to calculate the macros separately. Serve immediately!
