These meatballs make for a fantastic Keto Air Fryer recipe that is quick and easy to make. Meatballs make for an excellent high protein and fat item for snacking. Ground beef is combined with savory Worcestershire sauce, sea salt, grated garlic, onion, parsley, and Italian seasoning. They are rolled into balls and cooked in the air fryer. The air fryer is perfect for meatballs because they get nicely browned on the outside.

What if I don't have an air fryer?

If you don't have an air fryer, the meatballs can be cooked in a bit of oil in an ovenproof saute pan. Once browned on all sides, you can place the pan with the meatballs into a 350 F until the meatballs hit 165 F.

Are these meatballs dairy-free?

Yes! Traditionally, meatballs have parmesan cheese and even breadcrumbs, but if the fat content of the ground beef is high enough (we used 85%), then those ingredients are necessary.

Serving suggestions

Meatballs can be served as a snack with cheddar cheese cubes or spiralized zucchini noodles and pasta sauce. There are many Keto and Low carb pasta options out there, too, like palmini and more.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger or ground beef, 85% lean
  • 2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce, low sodium
  • 1 teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp, chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a medium-sized bowl until mixed well. Be sure to grate the garlic and the onion into the mixture.
  2. Continue mixing the meat until it has a give to it. Mixing the meat well will ensure the meatballs enough to hold together.
  3. Use a 1 oz cookie scoop to portion out the ground meat mixture. Form each scoop into a ball with your hands and place it into an air fryer basket with the rack fitted into the bottom.
  4. Cook the meatballs at 350 F for 12-13 minutes. Check the meatballs halfway through the cooking time, give them a shake, and then cook them for the rest of the allotted time. Finished meatballs should be browned on the outside and cooked all the way through. Serve immediately!
