This aromatic and spicy butter is packed with flavor, fats and a little bit of heat!

Perfect slathered over pork and chicken, or, if you want to add a little spice to your veggies, melt this over freshly cooked broccoli or green beans.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon, chopped hot chili peppers, red, raw
  • 2 pieces sundried tomatoes in oil by pastene
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ½ cup butter, unsalted

Instructions

  1. Add the butter to a mixing bowl and allow it to come to room temperature so that it is soft and mixable, but not melted.
  2. Finely chop and de-seed the chilli and finely chop the tomatoes. Mince the garlic and add all to the bowl with the butter. Mix together thoroughly to combine.
  3. Lay out a square sheet of saran wrap. Spoon the flavored butter along the center of the square, then roughly form a sausage shape with the butter.
  4. Bring the edges of the wrap up around the butter, wrapping it tightly in a sausage shape. Twist each end of the wrap securely to seal. Transfer the butter to the fridge to firm up for 20 minutes.
