This sweet and spicy compound butter blends chocolate and chili for a creamy treat, great for helping boost your daily fats.

This butter is perfect slathered on warm keto toast or basted onto meats.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon 100% pure erythritol by now
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice, fresh
  • ⅔ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ tablespoon cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Bring the butter to room temperature so that it is very soft. Add to a mixing bowl along with the erythritol, chili powder, lime juice, salt and cocoa powder. Beat together until smooth and well combined.
  2. Form the butter into a rough log shape, about 1.5 inches thick on a square of Saran Wrap or baking paper.
  3. Tightly wrap the butter and refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm and then slice to serve.
