These deliciously sweet and savory radishes make a great Keto-friendly snack or side dish. Our simple low carb radish recipe is prepared with just 3 ingredients. Fresh, crisp radishes are wrapped in strips of salty bacon then brushed with a low carb maple-flavored syrup. The radishes are then oven baked until tender, and the bacon is crisp and caramelized. Perfect for snacking, sharing, or dipping!

What Kind of Sweetener Can I Use?

We have used a low carb maple-flavored syrup to coat our bacon-wrapped radishes. This helps add a delicious sweetness to this otherwise savory dish. It also gives the bacon a deliciously golden, caramelized finish. You may use any low carb syrup you prefer, or, if you would rather stick with savory, you can simply omit the syrup and cook without. Please be sure to adjust your macros to account for any changes made to the recipe.

Serving Suggestions

Ingredients

  • 12 large – 1" to 1 1/4" diameter radish, raw
  • 6 slice – 6" long bacon
  • 2 tablespoon maple flavored syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a shallow oven tray with baking paper. Slice the tops from the radishes and discard. Cut each bacon strip in half lengthwise. Wrap a half strip of bacon tightly and securely around each radish.
  2. Add the maple-flavored syrup to a small bowl. Use a pastry brush to brush each bacon-wrapped radish with the syrup. Make sure each radish is liberally coated all over.
  3. Arrange the radishes across the prepared oven tray. Transfer to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. The radishes should be tender, the bacon should be cooked through, crisp, golden and caramelized. Serve with your preferred Keto sides.
