About

I like to find Brussels Sprouts that are already washed in a bag. It makes life easier because they all you need to do is cut the sprouts in half, drizzle them with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and roast them. Placing your baking sheet in the oven while the oven is heating helps to get a really good sear on them to make them nice and golden brown. It makes for a super quick, healthy side to pair with any type of protein.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound brussels sprouts
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 425 F. Place baking sheet in the oven while the oven is heating. Cut Brussels sprouts in half from top to stem.
  2. Place cut Brussels sprouts in a medium bowl and drizzle with olive oil and add salt. Toss to make sure sprouts are coated well with oil.
  3. Place Brussels sprouts on the hot baking sheet and place them all cut side down.
  4. Roast for 20 minutes or until the desired doneness is achieved and they are browned on the bottom.
