This simple but tasty dip is rich with cream cheese, aromatic oregano, zesty lemon, garlic and sweet roasted bell peppers.

This is a great dip for low carb veggies or spreading on keto crackers. Although jarred bell peppers have been used you can also roast your own peppers.

Ingredients

  • 9 ounce cream cheese
  • 2 medium – 2 1/2" diameter x 2 3/4" red bell peppers, sweet, raw or blanched, marinated in oil mixture
  • 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Drain the peppers and pat dry to remove any excess liquid. Add to a food processor along with the cream cheese, oregano, garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
