These roasted broccoli florets are tossed with crunchy pecans, olive oil, smoky paprika and sweet maple flavored syrup.

This is a great side to a protein of your choice or a base for a warm salad.

Ingredients

  • 3 cup broccoli florets by bonipak
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • 1 tablespoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
  • ¼ cup pecans, raw
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • â…› teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Dice the broccoli into even bite-sized florets and arrange across a shallow oven tray. Add the pecans and drizzle over the oil and syrup. Sprinkle over the paprika, salt and pepper and use your hands to rub the seasonings into the broccoli and pecans.
  3. Transfer to the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the broccoli is tender and the pecans are golden.
