This simple dressing is inspired by the traditional Italian sauce with a thicker consistency – perfect for spreading, dipping or topping grilled meat.
You can also find this recipe used with our keto pork chops and capers with tonnato.
Ingredients
- 4 ounce canned tuna
- 2 anchovies anchovies canned in oil and drained
- 1 tablespoon, whole pieces capers
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel or zest raw
- ⅔ cup mayonnaise
- ½ each – juice from one lemon lemon juice
- ½ cup olive oil
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a food processor.
- Blend until well combined and smooth and you have a thick dressing.
