If you’re growing tired of your go-to dressings, try this Turmeric almond butter dressing! As a bonus, this dressing uses a lot of fresh turmeric and ginger which act as anti-inflammatories and are super healthy! Enjoy this dressing with low carb veggies like celery and radishes, on salad, or on top of chicken.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon almond butter
  • ½ tablespoon tahini
  • 1 tablespoon ginger root, raw
  • 0.1 100g turmeric root
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon, grated carrots
  • 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a jar or blender, grate fresh turmeric (about 1 tablespoon), ginger and carrot. Add the almond butter and tahini.
  2. Pour in the lemon juice, water, and garlic powder.
  3. Using a blender or immersion blender, blend the mixture together for 5-10 seconds you drizzle in the olive oil.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and serve with celery, over salad, or as a dip for chicken.
