This keto baked brie makes for a great sharing starter or post dinner treat in place of a cheese board.
The cheese is baked until melted – perfect for dipping keto crackers or the candied walnuts.
Ingredients
- 7 ounce brie cheese
- 1 ½ tablespoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon, ground
- ¼ cup, halves walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 370 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Score the brie across the top. Finely slice the garlic and slot into the scored cheese. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of syrup. Wrap the cheese in foil and place on a shallow oven tray. Bake for 7-8 minutes until the cheese is oozy and gooey.
- Whilst the cheese bakes, add the walnuts to a small pan along with the remaining syrup and cinnamon. Turn the heat to low/medium and toast the walnuts, stirring often to ensure they are evenly coated in the syrup. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until warmed and fragrant. Set aside.
- Top the baked cheese with the candied walnuts to serve.
