Ingredients

  • 10 pod okra
  • 3 tablespoon, grated cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic, powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 360 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly oil a shallow oven tray.
  2. Slice the tops off the okra and discard. Using a sharp knife, carefully slice along the okra lengthwise, cutting each pod in half. Carefully slice out the core and seeds.
  3. Mix the grated cheese with the seasoning and garlic powder.
  4. Divide the cheese mixture evenly between the okra pods.
  5. Arrange the okra across the greased oven tray and transfer to the oven to bake for 12 minutes or until the okra is cooked through and the cheese is melted and golden.
