These manchego and chorizo crisps make for a quick and easy snack or appetiser.
These crisps are rich in flavor and are perfect served on their own or dipped in creamy guacamole.
Ingredients
- 12 slice – 1-3/4" diameter x 1/8" thick chorizo
- 12 teaspoon shaved manchego cheese by trader joe's
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- â…› teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a large shallow oven tray with baking paper.
- Arrange the chorizo slices across the lined oven tray.
- Spread a heaped teaspoon of manchego across the top of each chorizo slice.
- Sprinkle each cheese topped slice with a little oregano and black pepper.
- Transfer to the oven to bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling and the chorizo is crisp.
- Set aside to cool before serving.
