Dark chocolate almonds are my favorite! Who knew they are so simple to make from scratch? Serving size is 1/4 cup of almonds!

Ingredients

  • 2 cup, whole pieces almonds, raw
  • 4 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoon the ultimate sugar replacement granular by swerve
  • 2 tablespoon 100% cocoa special dark by hershey's
  • ½ teaspoon coarse kosher salt by morton

Instructions

  1. Place almonds in a skillet and add coconut oil. Heat until coconut oil is melted and coating the almonds. Heat almonds over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes or until the almonds are nicely toasted and darker brown.
  2. Add the sweetener, cocoa powder and salt. Stir until the almonds are well coated with chocolate!
