Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoon, shredded cheddar cheese
  • 0.12 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.12 teaspoon garlic, powder
  • 0.12 teaspoon cayenne
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin, ground
  • 0.12 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a ¼ sheet tray with parchment paper. Arrange 8 individual tablespoons of shredded cheddar cheese. Spread the cheese thin. A thin chip is a crispy chip, a thicker one will be chewy.
  2. Bake the tray of cheese in the oven for about 60 seconds. It should not take more than this for the cheese to melt, but watch the cheese bake to avoid burning.
  3. Pull the tray out and let the chips cool. If you’d like, you can use a utensil to shape the melted cheese into little triangles before they cool. Otherwise, leave them in a circle.
  4. Speed up the process of cooling the cheese chips by putting the tray in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. Then, once cooled, place the cheese chips in a plastic ziploc bag with the remaining ingredients. Shake the bag until the chips are coated in the seasonings.
