About

These crisp bacon chips are coated with keto maple syrup and baked until caramelized. The chips are accompanied by a sweet and savory peanut butter dip, perfect for scooping!

Although this dip uses peanut butter, almond butter would work just as well.

Ingredients

  • 4 slice – 6" long bacon
  • 3 tablespoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
  • 2 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoon cream cheese spread
  • 1 tablespoon almond milk, vanilla or other flavors, unsweetened
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • â…› teaspoon salt, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Slice the bacon pieces into three and arrange across the lined oven tray. Set aside one tablespoon of the lakanto syrup and brush evenly over the bacon pieces.
  3. Transfer to the oven to bake for 12-15 minutes until crisp and golden, then set aside to cool and firm up.
  4. Whilst the chips are cooking you can prepare the dip. Add the peanut butter, cream cheese, remaining lakanto, cinnamon, vanilla and salt to a mixing bowl. Beat together to combine.
  5. Add the almond milk and beat again until smooth and creamy. Serve with the bacon chips for dipping.
