This crisp and sticky bacon is smothered in lakanto maple syrup, smokey paprika and just a hint of garlic.

These make a great sweet and savory snack in between meals.

Ingredients

  • 4 slice – 6" long bacon
  • 2 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
  • 1 tablespoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
  2. Slice each strip of bacon into quarters and arrange across the oven tray.
  3. Whisk together the syrup, paprika, garlic powder and pepper.
  4. Brush each piece of bacon with the spiced syrup and transfer to the oven to bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown, crisp and cooked through. The bacon will crisp further on cooling.
