This crisp and sticky bacon is smothered in lakanto maple syrup, smokey paprika and just a hint of garlic.
These make a great sweet and savory snack in between meals.
Ingredients
- 4 slice – 6" long bacon
- 2 teaspoon gourmet collection smoked paprika by mccormick
- 1 tablespoon maple flavored syrup by lakanto
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.
- Slice each strip of bacon into quarters and arrange across the oven tray.
- Whisk together the syrup, paprika, garlic powder and pepper.
- Brush each piece of bacon with the spiced syrup and transfer to the oven to bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown, crisp and cooked through. The bacon will crisp further on cooling.
