These cute little prosciutto parcels are stuffed with cream cheese, chives and sundried tomatoes.

These make a great snack for the holidays or an appetizer before Christmas dinner.

The recipe calls for chopped chives but be sure to set aside some whole pieces to tie the parcels!

Ingredients

  • 5 ounce cream cheese spread
  • 4 slice prosciutto
  • 2 piece sundried tomatoes
  • ½ tablespoon, cut pieces chives
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt, sea salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the cream cheese to a mixing bowl. Finely chop two large sundried tomatoes and add to the bowl along with ½ tablespoon of chopped chives, salt and pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Slice the prosciutto slices carefully in half.
  3. Divide the cheese mixture evenly between the ham slices, creating a ball in the center of each.
  4. Carefully pinch the ham up around the cheese, forming a little bundle.
  5. Tie the parcel with a chive strand to serve.
